Why Hillary didn't get the nomination

I was fortunate enough to get a college education.  A college education has it's benefits.  I'm able to understand and analyze things I may not have been able to do otherwise.  To the Hillary Clinton campaign, this makes me an 'elitist' who's presidential preference should be minimized.  I heartily disagree.  Here's why...

  1. When Hillary Clinton proposes a gas tax holiday, I can recognize it as pandering.
  1. When Hillary Clinton says all Barack Obama has is a speech he gave five years ago, I can recognize it as inaccurate and destructive toward the presumptive presidential nominee of our party.
  1. When Bill Clinton compares Obama's win in South Carolina to Jesse Jackson's, I can recognize it as race baiting.
  1. When Barack Obama not only warned against an invasion of Iraq, but also accurately predicted what would happen as a result, while Hillary Clinton supported the invasion, I can recognize Obama as more prepared to make the most important decisions a President can make.
  1. When Hillary Clinton threatens to 'obliterate' Iran, I can recognize it as counterproductive saber rattling, more in line with neocons on the right.
  1. When Hillary Clinton claims a lead in the popular vote, but only by including Michigan (without Obama on the ballot) and Florida primaries that didn't count, and not including several caucuses that did count, I can recognize it as a disingenuous argument, inappropriate from someone that seeks the highest office in the country.
  1. When Hillary Clinton continues to promote the results from Michigan and Florida, though she agreed early on they wouldn't count, I can recognize she's a liar.

I'm lucky to have a college education.  It's helped allow me to understand and analyze what I see and read.  Hillary Clinton doesn't want my vote.  She wants the votes of those who don't have the time to assess the issues, or too ignorant to understand them.

I'm college educated.  I'm smart.  I have the ability to reason.  I support Barack Obama.
