Clintonistas and the Superdelegates

While Tuesday was a good night for Hillary, her gain in pledged delegates was somewhere in single digits. The arithmetic doesn't lie. Even if Michigan and Florida re-vote, Obama will win the race for pledged delegates.
So, what to do if you're a Clintonista? Accept the fact that, though the race was very close, Obama won fair and square? LOL...of course not. The nomination is Hillary's God-given right. If it can't be won fair and square, other methods must be explored. So, the battle will be on to attempt to flip the nomination by bribing/blackmailing/coercing the superdelegates.
As one of the handful of people that listen to Air America radio, I've heard their president, Mark Green on the air several times voicing a call for the system to play itself out, see what happens, etc. I've also seen him on Softball with Chris Matthews (usually debating Ed Schultz) make the same argument. While it was always evident he was a Hillary supporter, his arguments seemed fair-minded. However, earliert his week on Air America's website, he wrote a post endorsing a re-vote in Florida and Michigan (OK by me) and to let the results influence the undecided superdelegates. WHAT??? What a shame...just another Clintonista. Don't they get it? Well, actually, I'm sure they do. It's the Clintonista mindset. It's better to win the nomination and lose in November than to lose the nomination.
Let's say the Clintonistas are successful in flipping the nomination. This isn't being debated loudly enough in the MSM, but the consequences are abundantly clear. If the supers flip the nomination, the party will fracture, perhaps beyond repair, and John McCain will be our next president. The most reliable constituency in the party, African-Ameicans....GONE. The millions of younger voters who have been energized, joined the party and could become the basis for a long-lasting Democratic majority...GONE. The millions more that are still bitter over the Supremes taking the presidency away from Al Gore...GONE. All that will be left are the Clintonistas. Have fun with that.
The Clintonistas will say anything and do anything....ANYTHING...to get the nomination. The party be damned. It's all about them. If the supers flip the nomination, I'll join Donna Brazile and quit the party. Donna and I won't be alone.
